HCMC - MY THO - HANOI - HALONG BAY

Day 1: HOME - HCMC (D)
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport with Air Asia at 18:30, warmest reception by our representative then transfer to a local restaurant for dinner. Afterwards, proceed to hotel for check-in.
Overnight in HCMC.
Day 2: HCMC - CU CHI - HCMC (B-L-D)
After breakfast, a one and half hour journey to the world famous Cu Chi Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which provide shelters for Vietnamese guerrillas during the Vietnam War against American troops. Go back to HCMC for lunch. After lunch enjoy city tour in HCMC, the biggest and busiest city of Vietnam, with visits to The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People's Committee Hall which were all built during the French colonial period. Then visit the Reunification Palace, the War Museum, a famous lacquer ware factory and the Ben Thanh market. Dinner will be served on the Saigon River Cruise along the Saigon River. Overnight in HCMC
Day 3: HCMC - MY THO - HCMC (B-L-D)
Morning transfer to My Tho city located on the Mekong riverside, visit the colourful Vietnamese Vinh Trang Pagoda and then take a wonderful boat ride on the Upper Branch of the Mekong River, visiting local houses and workshops of coconut candies, fruit gardens, boating through small canals. Have a lovely lunch with the Vietnamese Southern style (elephant ear fish, big headed prawn, spring rolls, etc).
Drive back to HCMC for relaxation and shopping. Dinner will be served on the Saigon River Cruise at the end of the day. Overnight in HCMC
Day 4: HCMC - HALONG BAY (B-L-D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, transfer directly to Halong Bay,
a world natural heritage site since 1994. Then take a beautiful boat trip in Halong Bay to view multi-shaped rocks and visit the dramatic cave Paradise Grotto. A great seafood lunch will be served on boat. Later in the after noon, check in a hotel, enjoy seafood dinner at a local restaurant. Evening walk to Halong night market. Overnight in Halong Bay.
Day 5: HALONG - HANOI (B-L-D)
After early breakfast, check out the hotel, then transfer to Hanoi city, stop at the HCM Mausoleum and walk around the area, visit HCM's house and garden, the French Square, the One Pillar Pagoda. Then check in at a hotel. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon city tour, visit the Temple of Literature (the First university of Hanoi), Hoan Kiem Lake, walk in Old Quarter and shopping on silk street, gold & silver street, Dong Xuan market, etc. Enjoy the water puppet show
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 6: HANOI - Departure (B)
Biding farewell to Hanoi, transfer to airport to take the flight of Air Asia at 9:20 for journey home.

EXPLORATION OF VIETNAM AND LAOS

Day 1: VIENTIANE (D)
Arrival in Vientiane, a small charming capital city, meet the guide and transfer to a hotel.
After a short rest, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph.

Day 2: VIENTIANE (B-L-D)
Breakfast at hotel , Visit the Morning market where we will see a number of handicrafts for sale. We will also visit a number of workshop in and around Vientiane notably Phaeng Mai Gallery. Additionally, we will visit with Canadian businesswoman, Sandra Yuck of Caruso where she has developed a line of lifestyle products using wood as well as woven cloth, and continue to visit the central market. After lunch, take a trip by road to outskirts of Vientiane, following the road along the bank of Mekong river to visit the Buddha park of Xieng Khuan, the park (28km East of Vientiane), containing a combination of hundred status of Hindu divinities and Buddha. Enroute, we stop looms their stilt houses. We drive pass villages on the bank of Mekong through beautiful views of vegetable garden, tobacco plantation ... ect. It's nice make photo stops and see rural life of local people. We also have a nice view of the Mekong friendship Bridge as the border between Laos and Thailand after visiting then Buddha park, we return along another road back to Vientiane.

Day 3: VIENTIANE - XIENG KHOUANG (B-L-D)
Breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until your short afternoon flight to Xiengkhouang, which was devastated by American bombing between 1964 and 1973. Upon arrival, we transfer out to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site where hundreds of large stone jars are littered all over the plateau. We also have time, this afternoon seeing the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people. They have an interesting local culture and a colorful history.

Day 4: XIENG KHOUANG - LUANG PRABANG (B-L-D)
Early morning, we visit Central Market of Phonsavanh to watch different Hill Tribes to barter and exchange merchandises. Then heading to Luang Prabang, enjoy mountainous sceneries, hill tribe villages, coffee and photo stops. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos, check in a hotel and start seeing the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun, the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. Climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 5: LUANG PRABANG (B-L-D)
Today, we enjoy a guided tour seeing the city's oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of
Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving.

Day 6: LUANG PRABANG - HANOI (B-L-D)
Breakfast, visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the Central Market is not to be missed. Then transfer to the airport for flight to Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, meet your guide and transfer to check in a hotel
Enjoy delicious Vietnamese dinner at a local restaurant
Take a night walk of Hanoi Old Quarter by night to be amazed by the unique hustle and bustle of the city.

DAY 7: HANOI (B-L-D)
Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi where old and new things blend together, Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together.
Activities: a pleasant walk around the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, HCM Mausoleum, HCM House, One Pillar Pagoda, another pleasant walk at the beautiful Temple of Literature, a good visit at the Fine Arts Museum. From here, enjoy a fantastic rickshaw ride through the bustle and hustle of Hanoi Old Quarter and a fascinating walk and shopping in the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter.

DAY 8: HANOI - HALONG (B-L-D)
Morning check out the hotel, transfer to Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site.

13h00 : Have lunch aboard
13h30 : A fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, visit Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi island, Dog island, Sail island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach. You can rent a kayak from the crew (exclusive)
17h30 : Drinking Vietnamese wine and enjoy sunset
19h30 : Enjoy dinner on board.
21h00: Fishing or relax and spending a night on board.
DAY 9: HALONG - HUE (B-L-D)
07h00 : Have breakfast (cake, tea, coffee, milk).
07h30 : A morning cruise to visit Man's head island, Tortoise island, visit Luon cave by small bamboo boat.
09h00 : Arrange luggage and check-out.
10h30 : Have lunch onboard.
12h00 : Arrive Halong wharf, transferred to Noibai Airport for a flight to Hue. Arrival at Phu Bai Airport, proceed to Hue city, a World Heritage site in Vietnam. Check in at a hotel and rest till dinner.

Day 10: HUE (B-L-D)
Full day enjoy Hue's typical features: peaceful, traditional and beautiful.
Activities: enjoy a lovely boat trip on the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda, Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb. Have lunch at a garden restaurant with Hue typical food
Afternoon: take a tour of the Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty including the Imperial Palace, the Forbidden Purple City, the Emperor's private residence. Explore Imperial Museum, Thai Hoa Palace, or the Palace of Supreme Harmony. Visit the full-loaded Dong Ba market

Day 11: HUE - HOIAN (B-L-D)
Morning enjoy a scenic drive to Hoi An via Danang, stop at the Fine Arts Cham museum
After lunch, visit the Marble Mountains in Danang. Then continue to Hoian, a very charming ancient town, another World Heritage site in Vietnam. Relax till an interesting dinner with the best local specialties at the Ly's cafe
Evening enjoy colorful lanterns of Hoi An, have your favourite clothes made overnight in Hoian

5:30 Early morning optional visit to the unique fish market
Morning enjoy a relaxing city walk to more than 200 years-old temples and houses with a combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence.. Enjoy pleasant shopping with much variety, low costs and friendly hostesses.
Afternoon take a fantastic bicycle ride to explore interesting villages and the beautiful countryside, or free time for shopping or swimming in the South China Sea.

Day 13: HOIAN - HCMC (B-L-D)
Free morning for shopping and relaxation in Hoian.
Afternoon transfer to Danang airport to take a flight to HCMC, upon arrival meet our guide and transfer to a hotel.

Day 14: HCMC - CITY TOUR (B-L-D)
Morning excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnels system of more than 200 km in length which used to be the shelters of Vietnamese guerrillas during the war against American troops. Learn how the Vietnamese people make rice paper cakes and rice whisky at local workshops.
Back to HCMC for lunch and enjoy the city tour with visits to the Reunification Hall, the War Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the central Post office, the city center and the Ben Thanh Market
