Hello I am Markus Eder, an academic freelancer, with a very strong interest on engliush legal history of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. I therefore have written two legal history books. My first book Crime and Punishment in the Royal Navy of the Seven Years War, 1755-1763 (2004) was even quoted as legal authority before the Supreme Court of the United States in two Guantanamo prisoner cases. The origional edition being now out of print and used copies very expensive, I have reprinted it in 2010 on my own and sell it over abebooks as a beautiful hardcover or as an very affordable e-book over xinxii. My second book, "At the Instigation of the Devil": Capital Punishment and the Assize in the early Modern England, 1670-1730(Hilgertshausen-Tandern, 2009) has also found wide acceptance in academic libraries as National Library of Australia, Yale University Library, Princeton University Library and others. I sell it as softcover edition over abebooks, alibris, amazon.de and biblio and as aggressively priced ebook over docstoc and xinxii.
