Projektarbeiter / Bamberg, Germany / I studied Computer Science and media as a minor. I already programmed in Java, C++, Sheme, Haskell but I am capable to quickly adopt a new one. I worked for two mayor projekts so far that both used webservices, databases and GIS as main technologies. The first project was a routing portal for bikers for the ADFC Germany and the second a EU founded project called Tripod, that supports fotographers with automatically generated semantic metadata like captions and keywords. My PHD thesis will be about recommendation techniques. Recommender system perform a information filtering task. Based on the decisions made by the user in the past the system is able to predict future decisions. My current work transfers this idea to geospatial decisions made by different users. The final work is a webservice that will be used in the Tripod core system
