Ich biete: Klaus Mecherlein M.A., is an art historian, exhibition curator, author and university lecturer. He is the inaugurator of EUWARD, the European art award. Following his studies in art education and art history at the University of Munich, he founded and headed the atelier hpca in 1992, a studio community for outsider artists in Munich, and in 2000 became the curator of EUWARD of the Augustinum Stiftung. In 2001, he became director of the educational course of art assistant, and since 2011, he has been a part-time lecturer at Munich University of Applied Sciences. Since 2009, he has been chairman of Eucrea E.V. He is the author of various publications on Outsider Art (including in: WELTSICHTEN, HH, 2000, EUWARD, Munich, 2000/02/04/07/2010, DES MENSCHEN MAAß, Munich 2007 and KUNST VON BESONDEREN MENSCHEN, Linz 2009) as well as contemporary art.
